The purpose of this study was to identifying the factors of engaging, developing and retaining talent in Handball of IRAN Based on the grounded theory approach. this research was an exploratory research and a qualitative nature. the data gathered through documents and interview for 15 handball experts in deep-interview and semi-structured forms. the sample selected through subjective sampling and snowball approach and interviewing continued to get theoretical saturation. then, data analyzed by grounded theory in coding process included three steps: open, axial and selective coding. findings indicated the existence of 20 effective concepts was in the talent planning section that were categorized which in six components. in the talent developing section, 25 effective concepts in eight components and in the talent retaining section, 22 effective concepts were classified into seven components. based on results, this strategies; use qualified professionals and trainers, use of quality facilities and equipment, holding competitions and camps, systematic and scientific training of talents, media coverage, material and spiritual support for talented people can be helpful for government officials in talent management of Handball. |
