Implementation of Ethical Management in Sport in Iran Based on Grounded Theory Approach -Model Development

Given the high status of sport in society and the knowledge that sports organizations are administrator of sports, it is expected that ethics and ethical management are emphasized in these organizations. The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the factors influencing the implementation of ethical management of sport in Iran based on grounded theory approach and develop a model. This research purpose wise was applied type and in terms of data gathering is qualitative based on grounded theory and in terms of data analysis is analytical-exploratory method, and in terms of time of research, it is a futuristic one. The statistical population of the study includes all sport management and ethics experts with concentration on ethics in organizations. The statistical sample was identified, determined, and purposefully sampled according to the size of the population in the year 1398. Finally, 35 individuals were interviewed. Data collection was done through field survey by semi-structured and exploratory interviews with sport management and ethics experts. The data was analyzed using the grounded theory. The results showed that the concepts obtained from coding the symptoms were divided into categories of phenomena, causal conditions, contextual conditions, Interfering conditions, strategies and consequences of implementing ethical management in sport in Iran. Sport managers can apply this model in case of implementing ethical management in sport.
