Abstract

 the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying strategies and consequences of creating sustainable employment for sports science graduates. The present study is conducted within the framework of a qualitative approach. The statistical community of experts was aware of the research topic. The sampling method was theoretical. deep and semi-structured interviews were conducted with experts to collect data. Data reached theoretical saturation after 16 interviews. To assess validity, transferability and validity, the research findings were presented to the participants and their points of view were applied. The intra-subject agreement method was used for reliability which was reported to be 0.82. Findings related to the strategies represent 42 main concepts and 7 sub-categories including (job search and consulting, internship redesign, privatization and entrepreneurship in the sports industry, removal of legal barriers, responsibility of higher education, attention to new departments, establishment of a specialized sports organization) and The findings related to the Consequences identified 20 main concepts and 4 sub-categories including (individual development, economic development, cultural and social development and sustainable human development) which were largely in line with the strategies.
