The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between organizational happiness and job burnout in staff of Sport and Youth offices in Hamedan province. A descriptive-correlation methodology was adopted. The population comprised of all official and unofficial staff employed in Sport and Youth offices. 105 subjects were selected as the sample by stratified random sampling method appropriate to the size using Morgan and Krejcie Table. In the present study, Oxford Happiness Questionnaire by Hill and Argil (2002), which included 29 items in 5-point Likert scale and Job Burnout Inventory by Maslash and Jackson (1981) (MBI), (with 22 items) were utilized. To check the reliability of these questionnaires, Cronbach alpha coefficient was used (α=0.81 for Happiness Questionnaire and α=0.90 for Job Burnout Inventory). The data were analyzed by descriptive (mean and standard deviation) and inferential (Pearson correlation coefficient, regression test, one-way ANOVA and independent t test) statistics using SPSS 20 software. The results indicated that attention to organizational happiness and those factors creating this happiness can be good a contributor to job burnout prevention in staff.
